Assignment 19!

In this assignment we had to create a business card and a logo for a company. I chose to make a card for Azul salon and spa. I really like my business card a logo. It's very peaceful and simple. The colors are relaxing! I used a black oval for the actual card shape because I was thinking of the rocks they put on your back when you get a massage. 

Assignment 14:)

In this assignment I had to choose a career and create a poster for it. My career was Documentary Photographer. I like my poster I think the colors work well together. At first I like documentary photography but I wouldn't want that job. It's hard to establish yourself and you don't make a lot of money.

Assignment 13:)

In this assignment we were in groups of three and had to construct a exquisite corpse. Our two objectives were formal balance and emphasis. I had the torso, I like the way my section turned out. The only complaint I have is my part doesn't line up with theirs, but it turned out really well!

Assignment 11:)

In this assignment I took a paper background and placed a picture and lyrics on top. My lyrics were to the song Teenage Dream by Katy Perry. My picture was of a "couple" Diana and Collin. I tried to get a teen couple because being in a relationship in your teen years is defined in the song. I used many tools in this assignment, I used lasso, text tool, and much more. 

Week 16:)

In this assignment we were to blend ourselves in with a group a people (famous or not). I chose to blend my self with the cast of Twilight. In this project I use the layer masks to add in the cast, the balloons, and the posters onto the stage background. The only thing that I feel I could've done better is my picture. I wasn't looking the right way and my clothes make me stand out. 

Week 14:)

The objective of this assignment was to create a page mocking Stephen Kroninger. In this picture I used the principles of proportion, emphasis, & unity. 

Week 7:)

In this assignment we're supposed to trace nine patterns using the pen tool. The top three reflect texture, the middle three reflect space, and the last three ref elect value. I'm not finished with my work but I'm happy with the way it looks so far. I'll post a picture of it when I finish.

Week 4:)

My icon project:) This was my first time working with Adobe Illustrator. I feel like I did a fairly good job for it being my fist time. I wish they had smoother looking lines and looked more professional, to me they look like they would appeal to a younger crowd.
